Meet The Owner

In 1997 my husband and I found we would give birth to our second son and he would be born without hands. While we waited on our son to be born I had this strong sense of not being equipped for a child born with such a different-ability. Not long after his birth I met his first Occupational Therapist.  I remember her explaining everything to me and teaching me how to care for our child. Soon I started making phone calls to schools to become more educated and prepared to give our son the best opportunity at life. Eight years later I graduated with my own degree in Occupational Therapy (OT). Over the years I have used my education in personal life more than you could imagine. That same child was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and once again my skills were called into play in my own home. In 2014 our oldest son and only other child was hit by a bus. He sustained a brain injury along with multiple fractures. Yet again injury struck our home. Throughout this time I worked in the healthcare field and dealt with all the backlash of Corporate America. I lost my job on occasions secondary to illness of our children. Imagine the stress of sick and injured children and having to navigate job searches, and medical system at the same time. I often watched other parents struggle to care for their sick child while maneuvering the chaotic healthcare system.  I wondered how could I help others who may not be as equipped to handle these situations. I spoke with my husband about starting my own business. In 2021,after years of just trying to make it, my husband reminded and encouraged me to build my dream, Therapeutic Solutions Made Possible, LLC (TSMP). I am happy to have a company where I can take the load away from my patients and their family while providing the best Occupational and Physical Therapy services. I am here to get you back to living.
